ABOUT LITTLE FALLS CHRISTIAN CENTRE
No Compromise Christian Centre
In Acts 2:46-47 we find the Early Church meeting in the temple and from house to house. The preaching of the gospel becomes central when meeting in church, and the needs of the believers are met meeting from house to house.
Our Pillars
Changing the World with the Love of Jesus
Our vision is to touch and change the world with the love of Jesus. A clear Groups vision has set the path to developing and discipling every partner joining our church.
Equipping and Train all Believers
Our mission is to equip and train all believers to become effective Christ followers through loving, giving and serving actions. Our Lord Jesus commissioned all believers to become trained and taught ones, bearing the fruit of Kingdom living and upholding truth and righteousness.
Growing through Community
We believe in experiencing the Holy Spirit presence and Body of Christ life in our Groups.
Reliance on Accountable Leadership
An effective way to structure the church according to leadership accountability helps us to serve our Partners in Integrity.
The Word of God
Making the living Word of God applicable in our personal lives, Group life and church life.
Power of Prayer
Prayer is the most important cornerstone of our church. Without it we would not be able to connect with God and touch the lives of those around us. All off our staff demonstrate an active prayer life and a prayer strategy to have the Lord build the house.
A High Value on Worship
We place extremely high value on inspiring intimate times of worship in church services and Groups.
Reaching the Lost
Every Partner becomes actively involved in reaching out to the lost.
Helping the Poor
Through Ethembeni we as a church provide hundreds of thousands of food parcels to the poor in our community. Our Partners donate most of the food allowing us to do this.

What we Believe
The Inspiration of Scripture
The entire Bible is the inspired, only infallible and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). Both Jesus and the apostles proclaimed that the Bible is the inspired word of God. It is important to keep in mind that the Scripture is of Divine origin, written through man.
One God (The Trinity)
There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and that these three are co-equal and co-eternal, having precisely the same nature and attributes. Matthew 3:16, 17; Matthew 28:19, 20; Mark 12:29; John 1:14; Acts 5:3, 4; 2 Corinthians 13:14.
The Uniqueness of Jesus
We believe that Jesus was begotten by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18-23); is the Son of God because God is His father (Luke 1:26-35). His mother, Mary, was a virgin before He was born. She had not known man. God, the Father, by means of the Holy Spirit caused the Seed to grow in Mary’s womb.
The Crucifixion
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died as a substitute for us and that the only means of being cleansed from sin and to be saved is through repentance and faith in the redemptive work of Jesus. (Acts 2:38-39).
The Ressurection
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. He was buried, and He was raised from the dead on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4). His ascendance into heaven and His present life as our High Priest (Hebrews 4:15-16).
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering and equipping believers for service with the accompanying supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11)
The Fivefold Ministry
We believe in the God given fivefold ministry of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher; that these remain active and valid offices in the church today for the equipping of the saints. (Ephesians 4:11-12).
Heaven and Hell
We believe in the resurrection of both the just and the unjust, the eternal blessedness of the redeemed, and the eternal banishment of those who have rejected the offer of salvation. (Hebrews 9:27).
Divine Healing & Deliverance
We believe that the one true Church is the whole company of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ (Revelation 5:9-10). We believe that divine healing and deliverance from bondage forms an integral part of the Gospel (Acts 5:16).
The Lord's Supper & Water Baptism
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ appointed two ordinances namely The Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:23-26) and the Baptism by immersion in water. (Matthew 28:19)
PARTNER WITH US
Why Partnership ?
Why we do, What we do
Why we Lift our Hands
1 Timothy 2:8 “In every place of worship, I want men to pray with Holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy”. (New Living Translation)
This means:
- Consecration
- Surrender to God
- Readiness to receive
The best example we have is when a child comes running to her mother with hands lifted to show her utter dependence and admiration of her mother.
Clapping our Hands
Psalm 47:1 “Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!” (New Living Translation)
This means:
- Enjoyment
- Triumph
- Appreciation
- Joy in God’s presence
- Agreement
- Support
Dancing in Church
Psalm 149:3 “Praise His Name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp”. (New Living Translation)
This means:
- Victory
- Abundant Joy
Also, see Psalm 30:11 and Psalm 150:4
Praise & Worship
Psalm 21:13 “Be exalted, O Lord, in Your own strength! We will sing and praise Your power.” (New King James Version)
This means:
- Bringing honour to God
- A willingness to serve
- Submission to God
- Sign of respect
- Sign of commitment
- Sign of love
- Also, see Psalms 86:9
Shout for Joy
Psalm 98:4 “Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth, break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises”. (New Living Translation)
This means:
- Expression of love and excitement
- Giving Honour
Pray Fervently
Psalm 17:6 “I am praying to You because I know You will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray.” (New Living Translation)
Keep on praying. God answers prayer. See also Matthew 6:9-13; John 17 and Matthew 7:7
Give to God
2 Corinthians 9:7b “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” (New Living Translation)
We need to give to God first (this is obedience) but the Bible talks of a ministry of giving in 2 Corinthians 9:6.
We should know that what we sow is what we reap. We need to create a habit of giving. See also Luke 6:38
Study the Word
God want us to study His Word.
Joshua 1:8 “Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” (New Living Translation) See Also 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (King James Version)
Laying on of Hands
We have different examples of laying on of hands. This may be either for healing or the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 28:8b “Paul went in and prayed for him, and laying his hands on him, he healed him.” (New Living Translation)
Acts 19:6 “Then when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other tongues and prophesied.” (New Living Translation)
Love One Another
1 John 4:7 “Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.” (New Living Translation) See also 1Corinthians 13
Falling under the Power of the Holy Spirit
1 Kings 8:10-11 “And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.”(New King James Version) See also John 18:5-6 and Acts 26:13-14
Speaking in Tongues
We need to make a clear distinction between tongues as a sign of being baptized in the Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 14:2 “For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.” (New International Version) and
Tongues as a gift (This is where you speak in a tongue that you have never learned – e.g. If I do not know how to speak Japanese and God gives me a message of salvation in Japanese, and there is a Japanese person in the audience.)
